This magnificent 900 silver wine ewer was made in Imperial Russia between 1908 and 1915. The ewer was later retailed by Mankielewicz in his jewelry store in Warsaw. The large pitcher stands on a base engraved with various shapes. The body was done with an elegant design. The large applied handle was done with a bald eagle bust at the end of the handle, and wings on the sides. The hinged lid resembles a helmet. The finial is that of a leaf pulled through a ring. This incredible ewer would make a stunning wedding gift or addition to any home or bar.
