This magnificent 830 silver wine goblet was made in Nuremberg, Germany c. 1640. The makers of this cup have a gilt beaker in the Museum Joanneum Graz, and one of there cups is in the J.P. Morgan collection. The cup is gilted and the base was dome with a simple engraved design. The stem was done with a scrap metal and fluted design. The upper part was done in the same style with an embossed floral and rococo pattern as well. This sensational goblet would make a wonderful wedding gift or addition to any home bar or collection.
