This is an absolutely stunning rare antique 800 (grade) silver & red glass, candy dish or bowl. It was made in Germany circa 1890 (unsure of the maker). This basket would make a wonderful candy or nut dish. The silver is done in a fabulous pierced floral design. The red glass insert was custom made for this basket, and is a perfect fit. This would make a fabulous wedding gift for any couple.
