This is an absolutely stunning rare antique 800 (grade) silver & red glass, candy dish or bowl. It was made in Germany circa 1890 (unsure of the maker). This basket would make wonderful candy or nut dish. The silver is done in a fabulous pierced floral design. The red glass insert, was custom made for this basket, and is a perfect fit. This would make a fabulous wedding gift idea to any couple.
