These silver plated covered warming dishes were made by Sheffield (not sure) circa 1850. Each piece features wooden insulated handles so you don't burn your hands when handling them and a removable cover or lid. The dishes sit on four bronze colored fluted feet with a flat base. The top of the cover features a Rococo style ornament. The pair would definitely impress or would make an elegant addition to your collection. Good luck!
